Blocks: Oiled and Dry...
First & Second Bases; checking prior to glue-up .. one in standard drill press 4" vice, one in a precision toolmakers 3" vice 
Toolmakers vice .. all very good.
Drill Press vice .. stand-offs to ensure alignment under presusre
Gule-Up #1 .. so far so good .. NOT GOOD... I RE-Glued this base.. sides not lined up with base .. parrell and square but not flat with base.. 2nd try in glue up
Glue-Up #2 setting up .. NOTE double check sides are square & parallel in the drill press vice.
